Red is a translated book and I had a hard time "feeling/connecting" to the voice. This story about bullying is very rooted in a child's perspective. It nicely brings into focus a normal everyday form of bullying and the struggle that one child has to find their voice and speak up. The art is stunning, poignant and carries the book. A good conversation book for parents and kids.
