The Rejection Garden Tree/Story 13 DESIGNED BY MOOSE

The Rejection Garden is less about rejection and more about creativity, persistence, and joy.

Over the next month, I am going to share one Tree or Manuscript with you, not in its entirety, instead,

I’ll post a synopsis, how many times it has been rejected, and then,

I’ll finish with my favorite line and include a picture of the tree and name tag.

"Every rejection is incremental payment on your dues that in some way will be translated back into your work." - James Lee Burke

1 submission, no rejections (yet)

Pitch: A cautionary tale of home-grown visual and culinary garden treats, design aesthetics, and wits.  Hooks: Gardening, Moose, frustration, encouragement, and learning to pivot when all things go wrong.

Susie had plotted, pruned, and prepared the garden, now it was time to plant.  Moose had other ideas and, an eye for design.

My favorite line (page):

"A voracious visitor, Moose craved the fresh variety of green popping up in Susie's Garden,
it was all too delectable,
too delightful,
too delicious not to devour and...

...with an eye for design, Moose was ready to help."
